FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do appointments work?

Please click the contact link which has an email, our phone number and an address. Once you've contacted us we will schedule a consult to assess your needs and collaborate on your ideas. Consults can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the project.

What happens at the time of the consult?

We will sit down with you, listen to your ideas and come up with a plan to bring your ideas to life. Consults for permanent cosmetics, microblading, and post surgical tattoos can be made before or after studio hours for comfort and privacy. It is helpful, but not necessary that you have some sort of visual reference. Most people save pictures to their phones. Once we have discussed your needs, we can schedule an appointment for your tattoo or cosmetic procedure. There is a deposit required on all appointments.

How do deposits work?

The amount of a deposit will vary depending on what type of tattoo or procedure is requested. Deposits will come off of the price of your tattoo when you come in to have it performed. *****DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE***** If complications arise and you're unable to make your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance. As long as we have notice of a change, we will move your deposit to your next date and it will still come off of the total of the tattoo. We accept cash, credit , apple pay and paypal.

What do I need to do BEFORE my appointment day?

It is highly recommended to start supplementing a little extra, vitamin D, Zinc , Vitamin C and Vitamin E three days before getting tattooed. These vitamins help boost your immune system and tissue repair. A multivitamin is also good. It's not recommended to drink excessive amounts of alcohol the night before getting tattooed. This will lower your pain tolerance during the procedure and may also thin your blood. If you aren't feeling well, if you have a cold or if you've recently sustained a major injury we recommend you reschedule. We get the best healing results when we are healthy. It's highly recommended that you change your bedding the night before getting tattooed. Some people have pets and pet hair posses a possible risk of infection. Also, residual pigment form your tattoo can ruin bed sheets and pillow cases, so you may want to get your favorite sheets off the bed to avoid possible staining.

What do I need to do the DAY OF my appointment?

First of all, make sure you have had a good solid meal at least three hours before your appointment. If you are planning on staying for a long session, you may want to bring extra snacks. Keeping your glucose levels at a constant will help you to tolerate discomfort better. You are welcome to bring a pillow, a blanket or whatever will make you as comfortable as possible during the process. Please keep in mind that there's always a risk of tattoo pigment finding it's way on to your items. If you have any last minute visuals for your artist before the tattoo, please bring them in! Make sure to wear something comfortable that allows your artist easy access to the area you planned to have tattooed. We make every effort to be neat and clean, but tattoo pigment is messy, so wear something you're okay with possibly getting ink on. Please bring a valid ID. We cannot tattoo anyone without ID. It's the law.

What will happen the day of my appointment?

Your artist will have you fill out a release form. Once that's done you will discuss and approve your design. Once the stencil or marker has been placed and approved, we make sure you're as comfortable as possible before we begin. After the procedure, we answer any questions you may have an give you instructions on how to properly care for your tattoo.

What if I need touch ups?

We guarantee our work and will gladly make minor changes and do touch ups within the first year free of charge. If you think you may need a touch up, it's best to stop by the studio so we can see in person what needs to be done. You can also call or email regarding touch ups and we'll make our best effort to get you in as soon as it's convenient for you.
